One of the hardest things to do is to be nice to people who are not nice to us.  They make a catty remark and we want to interject an immediate unkind response to them.  They treat us with less than respect and we cannot wait to respond in kind.  However, that is far from what God wants for us.  What he desires from us is to remember when we were that person.  A person lost in their sin, hurt by the world at large, and looking for something bigger than themselves.  We should have a response when life is hard that Jesus is greater.  When tough times and tough people begin to affect us it should reaffirm our faith that Jesus is the peace giver.  We should begin to speak of love when they cast hate at us.  We should remember what He has done for us and desire to share that with those that surround us.  There was a time we ridiculed God and deserted the Savior and we found the Hope that is only found in Christ. We live out that faith remembering to share that love with others.

"Be not troubled about those who are with you or against you, but take care that God be with you in everything you do."
